Biography
With modern communications and computerization in the trading
arena, traders need to bring a high degree of market analysis
and trading experience to the marketplace in order to sense, identify,
and capture the slightest of moves in the futures and options
markets. With twenty five years of experience as a futures and
options trader for retail accounts, Tim Hannagan, Alaron Futures
and Options Senior Grain Analyst, has been helping futures and
options traders wade through the murky waters of the grain markets
with his concise "Grain" research report that appears
every trading day.
Mr.
Hannagan served as Vice President and Senior Market Analyst at
Harvey Commodities for ten years before joining Alaron. During
this period he refined his trading methodology and developed a
centralized focus toward assisting the retail trader. Mr. Hannagan
spent over four years developing the technical reversal system
he uses to enter and exit all trades.
His
understanding of the domestic and global grain markets has earned
him national recognition. Mr. Hannagan’s market opinions
have appeared in such news print publications as the Investor’s
Business Daily, Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Bloomberg Newswire,
and Futures Magazine. He has also appeared on business in Chicago
(WCIU, Ch. 26) and Los Angeles (KWHY, Ch. 22).
